HOW IT WORKS
Software For Your Mind is a program developed to reach the subconscious mind, the
control zone of our mind and program it to do what we consciously want to do. In
a relaxed state it leaves the subconscious mind open to positive suggestions leading
to permanent change in behavior. Since our mind controls our body this method not
only works on habits but all body functions from pain, to high blood pressure, to
depression and anxiety.
It can be bad in that when we smoke, drink, or overeat we create a memory pattern
in our subconscious which can be triggered by any one of a number of memory triggers,
causing us to repeat that behavior, often without thinking about it, we light a cigarette,
grab a beer, or go to the refrigerator without consciously thinking about it. We
can change those programs through guided meditation.
When we make a decision our conscious mind asks, what did we do the last time we
experienced this? It follows a path of memories, finds the answer and we tend to
do exactly what we did the last time. That’s how habits are formed. Our conscious
mind says stop the behavior we don’t want, our subconscious mind says, but that is
who we are, that is what we do.
This mental programming is good in that we learn from the past and can access that
program any time in the future. That is why we only have to learn to ride a bike
once. Our subconscious records how to peddle, use brakes, but also all of the muscle
memory required to balance on the bike.
